World Car-Free Day Celebration (20 Sep)
MOVE&JOY kicked off its Car Free Game (Season 2) on 20 Sep 2026 with the World Car Free Day Ride. Fifty participants, including Guest of Honour, Valerie Lee, MP for Pasir Ris-Changi GRC, cycled or walked to Ohana Beach House at Pasir Ris Park from Downtown East in celebration of sustainable living.
Chief Joy Officer, Kelvin Phang, emphasised on utility commuting as his core message for Car Free Game (Season 2). "We want people to move from place to place with sustainable modes of travel such as cycling, walking, skating and taking public transport instead of frequently relying on using a car for every errand," he explains.

MP Lee also highlighted the importance of sustainable travel as it not only helps reduce carbon emissions, but is a good way to be healthy and allows for the appreciation of Singapore's nature and parks.
Witono Halim, founder of MIMO Motor, a Singapore-based mobility company focused on designing compact, modular electric vehicles for dense urban environments, was also present to showcase how his MIMO cargo bicycle can be used for daily commuting with modular, foldable parts.
